We are a crew of 5 IT enthusiasts looking for a new addition to the team that would give us a helping hand in granting a full functionality of Global Applications daily utilized by Heidelberg Materials – one of the world’s largest integrated manufacturers of building materials. What will you do?
As an Application Support Specialist, you will ensure problem-free operation of the entire set of applications the company is currently running on. Working dynamically 24/7 while receiving an assistance of the 3rd level IT experts when dealing with major issues, makes the entire team capable of prompt reactions to all occurring incidents. That said, you will be at the head of ticket queue management, applications monitoring as well as general requests processing coming from the internal customers.

Other responsibilities include the following:

  • Ensuring the smooth operation of Global Applications, which support the business processes of Heidelberg Materials
  • Managing user accounts and accesses
  • Maintaining and updating knowledge base
  • Cooperating with the internal teams on task transitions


You are a great fit for the position if you …

  • Have a minimum of 1 year of technical experience in Applications Support and hence, the administration, maintenance, support, and analysis of the related issues
  • Have an IT background knowledge on Windows Server OS, Citrix, Networking etc.
  • Are fluent in Czech and English languages – both written and spoken

What is beneficial:

  • Functional knowledge on enterprise ERP systems e.g., SAP
  • Experience in working directly with vendors for 3rd party applications
  • University degree in either Computer Science, Business Informatics, or other relevant fields
